Kuanria, a picturesque getaway, about 50 kms from Nayagarh, comprises of a huge reservoir flanked by blue hillocks and a 1.5 kms long dam over River Kuanria. Among the top attractions is a large deer park spread over 6 acres by the river basin. The park is home to about 160 numbers of spotted deer, barking deer and sambar. A large number of migratory birds also flock to this reservoir during winters.
